| Past the Galaxies of Stars
I recognized you right at first
I want you to know the shock
Of seeing you after all these years
I couldn't believe but sure
It was true not that you look
So different but for sure the
Years have made the passage of
Time
You look strangely so much like
I always thought you would except
When you came in my thoughts were
Wandering not in the past
My face has altered my son
Looks like myself but his features
Resemble his mother but below I
Sense my past as with you my
Friend
You have a timbre to your voice I
Think you have a manner with your
Hands a certain way your hips
Make you walk another way you
Talk to prove the world is right
Only on your lonely path lest
Talk to prove the world is right
Only on your lonely path lest
You forget and I may smile for
I can give you no direction
My own compass lost one cold night
I reached past the galaxies of
Stars
